I’ve a thing for puns involving people’s names.
Rustle at this time of year invokes the sounds of wrapping paper and ribbon as we prepare for the big moment to come. I’m convinced cocktails and cheesy music should accompany this and you’ll find the Russelling Orange Blossom suits the occasion. It’s easy to prepare and yet festive enough to hold its own amongst the shiny paper and curly ribbon.
The Russelling Orange Blossom springs from the well-oiled mind of Jeff’s brother in-law Russell.
A bit of history
Last year, I discovered the Orange Blossom pure and simple. Of course, I mentioned its existence to the world at large, on Facebook. Russell in all his wisdom added a splash of Cointreau: Perfection In a glass.
Last January we arrived in New Zealand after a long and all too vertical trip from Ireland. Our first stop was Marrianne and Russell’s home near Auckland. That evening I enjoyed watching Russell swish and swirl the spirits certain to soften if not cure my jet lag.
And on with the drinking
Now, I invite you to bring calm to the hustle and bustle inherent in this time of year with the Zen-Like perfection that is the Russelling Orange Blossom.
